AI Strategy Advisory Consultant

Responsibilities

• Architectural Evolution: Define, design, and evolve the architecture for enterprise platforms, ensuring all solutions are scalable, secure, and highly reusable.
• Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with engineering, data teams, and business stakeholders to establish robust integration patterns that drive enterprise digital capabilities.
• Delivery Governance: Guide delivery teams and ensure all architectural decisions align perfectly with the client's overarching technology, data, and risk frameworks.
• Design & Pattern Ownership: Architect end-to-end solutions combining strong software engineering practices with API design, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• AI Platform Foundations: Lead the architectural design for AI engineering and AI platform development, embedding modern guardrails, resilience, and cost optimisation into cloud-native environments.
• Core Architectural Experience:
• Regulated Environments: Proven track record working as a Solution or Platform Architect within complex, large-scale, or highly regulated enterprise environments.
• Cloud-Native & Containers: Deep experience designing solutions on Kubernetes-based platforms with a strong mastery of container orchestration and cloud-native design (specifically on AWS ).
• Integration & Data Mastery: Extensive experience designing and governing integration-focused solutions across APIs, event-driven systems, and batch/streaming data patterns.
• Data Architecture Lifecycle: A solid understanding of data integration principles, including data ingestion, transformation, consumption, and data lineage.
• AI Engineering Exposure: Direct experience working on AI engineering or AI platform development within a large-scale enterprise setting.
• Methodology & Frameworks:
• Architecture Principles: Deep understanding of non-functional requirements (NFRs), security-by-design, resilience, and practical technical governance.
• Consulting Edge: Ability to act as a trusted advisor, translating complex AI and data flows into clear, actionable architectural roadmaps for C-suite stakeholders and engineering squads alike.

This is not a high-level conceptual role; you will actively define and evolve the concrete architecture for our core platforms, with a laser focus on platform design, system integration, and complex data flows.
