Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requests when required.
Conduct periodic stock counts and inventory reconciliations.
Ensure proper tracking of material movements and inventory transactions.
Receiving & Issuing Materials
Receive materials delivered to site and verify quantities against purchase orders and delivery notes.
Inspect received materials for quality, specifications, and potential damages.
Coordinate with procurement and site teams regarding discrepancies or non-conforming materials.
Issue materials to authorized personnel and maintain proper documentation.
Storage Management
Ensure proper storage, identification, and preservation of materials in accordance with company procedures and manufacturer recommendations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure store environment.
Implement suitable storage practices to prevent damage, loss, or deterioration of materials.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain all store-related records, including goods receipt notes, material issue vouchers, stock registers, and inventory reports.
Update inventory records and ERP systems in a timely and accurate manner.
Prepare periodic inventory and stock movement reports for management review.
Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and inventory records.
HSE & Compliance
Comply with BESIX Group HSE policies, procedures, and project requirements.
Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of materials where applicable.
Maintain housekeeping standards within the warehouse and storage areas.
Promote a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Education
Diploma or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
Bachelor's degree is considered an advantage.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in storekeeping, warehouse operations, or inventory management within the construction industry.
Experience working on large-scale construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects is preferred.
Technical Competencies
Good knowledge of storekeeping procedures, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
Familiarity with construction materials, equipment, and tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Experience using ERP systems and inventory management software.
