The Assistant Coach for Women's Rowing assists the Head Coach in the planning and operation of the Women's Rowing program at Cornell University. This includes assisting with practice and games, with preparation as assigned; evaluating performances; and making recommendations to the head coach regarding individual participation in games. The Assistant Coach also has recruiting responsibilities, to identify, encourage and evaluate application and acceptance of student athletes at Cornell in accordance with the Ivy League, NCAA and University policies as assigned by the Head Coach. This is an 11-month position. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree with up to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Credentials should reflect proven success and potential in coaching, recruiting, and developing student- athletes. Knowledgeable of NCAA rules. Highly motivated with an outstanding work ethic and relentless recruiter NYS boating license or ability to obtain prior to start date Candidate working towards or already have a LEVEL 2 coaching certificate Experience modeling values that support inclusion, belonging, and wellbeing. Ability to advocate for individuals from a broad range of backgrounds.
