About the role

The Research Assistant (Neuroinformatics) in the Computational Optics and Translational Imaging (COTI) Lab at Northeastern University will support NIH-funded projects focused on advancing neuroimaging research through the development of open-source software and data-sharing platforms. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

45%: Develop automated and AI-driven metadata extraction, query, and data processing pipelines and integrate with the web-based interface.

25%: Implement and manage backend systems, including database management, metadata indexing, user query, and uploading new datasets for efficient data storage and retrieval.

20%: Design, develop, and maintain scalable web-based platforms to support large-scale neuroimaging data sharing.

10%: Develop documentation, tutorials, and training materials for workshops; contribute to publications.
