About the role

As an Engineering Technician, you will be an integral member of the team responsible for performing propulsion test activities at Stennis Space Center. Your skills will be highly utilized to fabricate, install, activate and operate technical systems necessary for the successful achievement of the goals of the Center, NASA and our commercial partners. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. To qualify for GS-12, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service: Developing work instructions or technical documentation to support fabrication, maintenance, or operation of systems; Coordinating work activities, system outages, or maintenance schedules across teams or facilities; and Resolving technical issues in collaboration with engineering or technical staff while ensuring work is performed in accordance with requirements and standards.
