White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Lead Radiologic Technologist for our Cardiac Cath Lab department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Lead Tech Radiology you will: - Manage and maintain staffing schedule and on-call schedule. - Be part of the Interview panel to hire any new member of staff. - Run daily operational activities in the Cath lab. - Be a resource and technical expert to the Cath lab. - Recognize training needs of the staff and work with the educator to ensure competencies are maintained. - Work with the Nurse manager to complete performance reviews on all Cath lab techs. - Provide on-call if required to support the team. - Develop good working relationships with all providers coming to the Cath lab. - Manage block time appropriately. - Support and implement any changes for the department. Qualifications include: - High school graduate or GED equivalent - Graduate of two-year AMA/JCERT accredited school of radiography - ARRT registered (RT) ARRT Advanced Certification; (QA) preferred - State of Maryland Medical Radiation Technologist license - Three years' experience in Diagnostic Radiology, supervisory experience preferred - High level of technical aptitude - Strong customer service skills - Ability to work independently and handle a multi task environment - Basic PC skills - Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Work Schedule: No holidays. No weekends. Day Shift Pay Range: $39.96 - $59.94 If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
