About the role

This position is located in the eDiscovery group in the Legal Division at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and is responsible for serving as a technical and operational advisor within the eDiscovery Group as well as a consultant on electronic discovery ("eDiscovery") and litigation support issues related to litigation, investigations, trials, regulatory enforcement proceedings, FOIA requests, subpoenas, and other informational requests seeking disclosure of agency information. Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Specialized Experience: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the grade 12 level or above level in the Federal service providing guidance on eDiscovery systems software; developing eDiscovery programs and system specifications; and executing in technologies used to facilitate delivery of eDiscovery services and technology.
