The Manager of Partner Management is responsible for the end-to-end orchestration of high-impact divisional activities, ranging from client engagement initiatives to internal staff conventions. This role acts as the primary coordinator for the division's external and internal presence, managing marketing sponsorships and tracking budgets to ensure all activities align with business growth and engagement objectives.
Responsibilities
Engagement Orchestration: Lead the planning, logistics, and execution of main divisional activities, including client appreciation events, networking functions, and internal staff conventions.
Business Head & Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with Business Heads to execute sponsored functions and engagement activities. This includes managing guest lists, overseeing attendee mobilization, and ensuring the program aligns with specific business unit objectives.
Strategic Partnerships: Manage marketing sponsorships with business associations and corporate partners. Coordinate the division's marketing presence at industry functions via booths, talks, and joint promotional activities.
Thought Leadership & Programming: Organize seminars and educational workshops by sourcing and coordinating with industry experts, ensuring content addresses the needs of corporate and SME clients.
Marketing Budget Tracking: Monitor and manage the division's marketing spend. Ensure all activity-related expenses are recorded and provide regular reporting on budget utilization against actual outcomes.
Business Referral Support: Work closely with business centers and associations to facilitate referrals, leveraging networking platforms to help garner new business and deepen client relationships.
Process & Vendor Management: Streamline policies and workflows to improve the effectiveness of vendor management and internal coordination, ensuring the seamless execution of all projects.
Job Requirements
Experience: 2 years and above of banking experience in a marketing or support role, with a strong emphasis on project coordination or corporate communications.
Coordination Skills: Superior coordination and organizational skills; must be able to manage complex logistics, multiple vendors, and senior stakeholders simultaneously with high attention to detail.
Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel within Malaysia during events as required to oversee and execute onsite activities.
Communication: Possess excellent written and spoken English and Mandarin skills to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients and partners.
Technical Skills: Good Microsoft Excel skills for tracking budgets and managing event data.
Education: Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or any equivalent.
Competencies:
Strong interpersonal skills suitable for networking and relationship management. Strategic thinking with the ability to execute business plans effectively.
Citizenship: Malaysian citizen.
