A bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field with at least 2 years' experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.

Job Summary:
The Logistics Analyst plays a crucial role in optimizing the supply chain and logistics processes within an organization. This position involves working along side our freight payment company, analyzing data related to transportation, warehousing, and inventory management to identify areas for improvement. The Logistics Analyst develops and implements strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
This is a hybrid position that will sit in our Charlotte, NC office.
Responsibilities to include:
Data Analysis
- Collect and analyze data related to logistics processes and procedures
- Identify trends and patterns in data to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Regularly report on data findings to relevant stakeholders
Supply Chain Management
- Monitor inventory levels and track shipments of goods
- Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Identify and resolve any supply chain issues or delays
Cost Management
- Invoice Resolution with Freight Payment Company
- Freight cost allocation
- Monitor logistics costs and identify areas for cost savings or efficiency improvements
- Negotiate contracts and rates with logistics providers
- Analyze transportation and storage costs to optimize budget allocation
Process Improvement
- Lean Practice coaching and training
- Identify areas for process improvement within the logistics department
- Implement new procedures and systems to increase efficiency and reduce costs

Project Management
