Manage and coordinate food and beverage activities, including delivering a high-quality product, maintaining established operational standards, and effectively leading the team. Primary Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned. Effectively lead staff to ensure quality service is delivered. Continually follow up to ensure tasks are being completed in a timely manner and to the appropriate standards and that tools and equipment are operating properly. Ensure staff receive proper safety and job skills training through group training, on-the-job training, communication, meetings, etc. Assist in the selection, development, leadership and retention of talented food and beverage staff. Assist in ensuring that financial targets are being met, and appropriate accounting procedures are being followed consistently. Ensure food and beverage staff are providing excellent guest service. Maintain constant communication between departments and keep other departments informed about special programs and events.
