This role is responsible for delivering accurate and compliant payroll operations across APAC while ensuring alignment with accounting and regulatory requirements. It contributes to financial integrity through precise payroll processing, statutory compliance, and reconciliation activities. The position plays a key role in supporting audits, controls, and cross-functional financial processes.
How you will make an impact:
Execute end-to-end payroll processing for APAC regions across monthly and bi-weekly cycles.
Validate payroll inputs including hires, exits, variable pay, benefits, and equity components (RSU/ESPP).
Review payroll outputs and variance reports to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate with ADP and local payroll vendors to deliver accurate and timely payroll processing.
Ensure compliance with local tax laws, social security regulations, and statutory requirements.
Oversee statutory filings and payments within defined timelines.
Prepare and post payroll-related journal entries and perform reconciliations to support month-end close and general ledger reporting.
The must haves:
Education: CA Intermediate (CA Inter) OR MCom OR MBA in Finance
Experience: 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within a multinational environment
Utilization of ERP systems, payroll software, and advanced Microsoft Excel
Application of multi-country payroll processes, payroll accounting, reconciliations, and general ledger processes
