JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION SUMMARY: Food Production - General Production - Storm Lake Pork Plant - Storm Lake, Iowa Hours: Determine by Department placement (Must be willing to work in all areas based on facility staffing needs, location needs determine shift of work available) Pay: Starting at $21/HR This position is responsible for performing entry-level, non-skilled general labor tasks while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to, the following Must be able and willing to work in any department of this pork processing facility. Must be able and willing to work a schedule that may include Monday through Saturday, based on production and operational needs. FOR ALL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Must be able and willing to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, and reach throughout the work shift. Must be able and willing to lift materials and products as required by the assigned work area; lifting requirements vary by department. Must be able and willing to work in cold, damp, hot, and/or humid environments. Must be able and willing to walk and work on potentially slippery surfaces. Must be able and willing to perform physical labor for the duration of the assigned shift.
