The selected candidate will serve as the deputy of the Luxembourg Head of IT. The key responsibilities of the role will include: Oversight over Luxembourg IT Day-2-Day Operational activities Shape and direct delivery of Luxembourg IT Change portfolio Key managerial role in a multi-year platform transformation Oversight over Capital and Operating expense Financial management Vendor management in line with regulatory requirement and outsourcing elements Create and deliver management presentations for senior executive forums IT Talent development and organizational shaping Define and implement modern ways of working towards an Agile organization. The ideal candidate should have a fair amount of the following skills and experience: Deep managerial experience in EU / Luxembourg regulated financial service companies. Deep IT experience with exposure across all domains (Applications, Infrastructure, Security) Proven ability to manage a local platform with a nexus to a "global" platform outside Luxembourg Deep experience in Transformations, preference in platform modernisations and migrations Deep experience in overseeing platforms with stringent SLAs and a diverse stakeholder community Prove ability to map Regulatory requirements to platform delivery and oversight (e.g., DORA) Experience in overseeing significant teams and Talent Management responsibilities Proven ability to define and implement a modern IT Operating Model focused on empowered employees Willingness "roll up sleeves" and connect and orchestrate many different threads and stakeholders. Proven ability to quickly assimilate into bigger initiatives and structure complex topics into tangible deliveries A cost excellence mindset and ability to optimize spend through innovative solutions and process excellence.
