Complete flooring installations, repairs, and replacements within designated timelines
Remove existing flooring materials and properly dispose of debris
Prepare subfloors by leveling, patching, and addressing minor surface issues to ensure proper installation
Install carpet, vinyl, LVP, laminate, and tile flooring according to company standards and manufacturer specifications
Install transitions, trim, baseboards, and finishing materials as needed
Inspect completed work to ensure craftsmanship meets quality and safety standards
Measure and estimate materials needed for projects and maintain appropriate inventory levels
Coordinate with team members and vendors to ensure units are ready for installation
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment
Document completed work and materials used as directed
Participate in ongoing technical and safety training programs
Travel between multiple properties as needed
Minimum 1-3 years of flooring installation experience (multi-family or residential) - Preferred
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - Preferred
Knowledge of subfloor preparation and flooring installation techniques
Experience with carpet stretchers, seam irons, tile cutters, and other installation tools
Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
Willingness to learn new trades and become cross trained when needed
Excellent time management skills to meet turnover deadlines
Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks
High school diploma or equivalent required
Location: Waikiki, HI
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 hourly
Schedule: Monday - Friday (8 am - 5 pm; on call as needed)
