About the Position: This position is located at Fort Gordon, GA - Military Installation, 2nd Floor of MTF. Hours: 0730-1600, individual office space in a High Tempo work environment. Serves as a Contact Representative at a Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) within the Defense Health Agency (DHA). Provides support/assistance to Active Duty, Reserves, National Guard, retired service members, family members and other personnel eligible for DoD healthcare. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes resolving complex customer or patient inquiries within a medical treatment facility or clinic; providing assistance to patients; assisting beneficiaries with health care related benefits; AND utilizing an automated healthcare database to enter and retrieve patient data. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
