Execute Planned Component Replacements (PCR) - perform scheduled change-outs of engines, transmissions, final drives and hydraulic systems based on OEM intervals, asset life strategy and condition monitoring insights.
Follow the right procedures - research and consult the correct and latest service information systems for specific procedures, instructions and specifications, particularly for major component replacements.
Do it once, do it right - take every step to ensure workmanship is fault-free during high-value PCR work, ensuring quality in the finished product and avoiding costly rework or premature failures.
Work to schedule - complete assigned tasks within required shutdown windows and production-aligned PCR schedules while maintaining safety and quality.
Support reliability outcomes - contribute to reducing unplanned breakdowns by proactively replacing critical components before failure, aligned to site maintenance and lifecycle strategies.
Keep customers informed - involve customers and supervisors in major repair and component replacement decisions and provide clear updates on job progress.

Requirements
A successful teammate will have experience in:
Experience that counts - proven experience in the industry, ideally including major component change-outs, shutdown work or PCR-style maintenance in a workshop or site-based Diesel Fitter role.
Strong communicator - excellent communication skills with a genuine customer focus, particularly when supporting high-value replacement decisions.
Organised and efficient - strong time management skills to keep jobs on track within fixed PCR schedules and shutdown windows.
Team player - able to work well with others as well as independently when required, especially in coordinated PCR and shutdown teams.

This role is heavily involved in Planned Component Replacement (PCR) programs, delivering major component change-outs aligned to lifecycle and reliability strategies. This is an Alternating 14 on, 14 off roster (day and night shift FIFO from Brisbane to the NT).
