As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring domestic and international shipping processes to ensure the efficient and timely distribution of goods. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent record-keeping skills, and a customer-focused approach. Location: Santiago, Chile Primary Job Functions: Responsible for coordinating domestic and international shipments from the California, USA warehouse, ensuring compliance with export regulations, and selecting cost-effective shipping methods that meet customer delivery requirements. Improve the quality of IFS Inventory Part Master Data by verifying the country of origin and uploading required images for export shipments. Support the LATAM warehouse team with export processes and collaborate with logistics to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations. Monitor ocean and air imports, provide clearance instructions, resolve discrepancies, and conduct post-entry audits. Troubleshoot shipment issues with freight forwarders and customs brokers, determine Harmonized Tariff Classification, and manage trade compliance recordkeeping. Assist in policy development, identify process optimization opportunities, and align U.S. and European customs compliance where possible. Track machine shipments, provide status updates, ensure freight costs are recharged to customers, and maintain ongoing customs compliance. Work with suppliers on country of origin and tariff details, and act as the main point of contact for import/export-related queries. Report key performance indicators for freight and inventory, and collaborate with purchasing and operations to optimize inventory levels and freight costs. Perform other related duties as assigned. Promote a "Safety First" culture across the company, our customers, and the industry. Associate degree (preferred) in Business, materials management, or related field Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and quick to learn new software tools Experience with ERP systems and data analysis from them 5+ years' experience in an international logistics role Professional demeanor Strong follow through abilities and attention to detail Be a logical thinker, self-motivated, ability to work independently Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
