Position Summary - Responsible for the supervision of the Environmental Services/Linen Department; providing a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Principal Accountabilities - Leadership Competencies: Business Acumen, Collaborates, Developing People, Focus on Results, Leading Effective Teams, Managing Change, Personal Leadership, and Strategic Thinking - Standards of Performance: Respect, Integrity, Compassion, Collaboration, Stewardship, Accountability, Quality Education - Associate Degree or five years Environmental Services experience Licenses and Certification - N/A Experience and Skills - Supervisory Experience: 1 year in hospital setting Physical Activities - Intermittent hand manipulation required - Intermittent lifting and carrying of 100 pounds Role Specific Responsibilities - Assists Director to ensure Environmental Services and Linen departments are in compliance with federal, state, and all accrediting agency regulations. - Ensures equipment and supplies are used and stored in a safe manner and maintained in working order. - Fulfills on-call administrative duties as needed .
