You will perform venipunctures professionally and with skill at various sites and explain to patient the procedure
You will ensure draws are collected in a timely manner and check all workload pending lists periodically for specimen accountability
You will accurately label patient samples following hospital policy
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Current Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist Certification or Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist eligible (MA-P) OR current Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
Experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred
