Review subpoenas, investigative demands, information requests, and related legal documents to identify response requirements, deadlines, and relevant business contacts
Prepare and send responses to third-party legal requests in coordination with in-house counsel, external counsel, and internal stakeholders
Record, process, and monitor incoming requests, filings, and orders using matter management systems and shared repositories
Respond to status inquiries and escalations from issuing parties and internal teams with accurate updates and next steps
Research related matters, supporting records, and available resources to help determine response scope and required documentation
Maintain electronic case management tools, shared file rooms, and databases to support tracking, reporting, and retrieval of legal matter information
Support program administration, reporting, special projects, and process improvement activities related to third-party response operations
Experience you'll need to have:
3+ years of experience in paralegal, legal operations, or legal analyst work supporting subpoena response, investigative demands, records requests, or similar third-party legal matters
Experience reviewing legal documents, tracking deadlines, and coordinating document collection and responses in a regulated business environment
Experience using matter management systems, document repositories, and database tools for legal matter tracking, file management, and reporting
Bachelor's degree or higher in Legal Studies, Business, Criminal Justice, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience
Experience that would be great to have:
Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal operations credential
Experience preparing written correspondence and legal response materials with accuracy, organization, and attention to deadlines
Experience supporting third-party response programs in financial services, payments, or consumer data environments
Experience working with in-house counsel and external counsel on subpoena or investigative response matters
