Position Summary: Always Compassionate Health is seeking a highly motivated Recruiter to join our Newburgh-based recruitment team. The Recruiter will play a vital role in supporting company growth by recruiting Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Personal Care Aides (PCAs). Working under the guidance of the Recruitment Manager, this role is responsible for executing high-volume recruitment strategies, building strong community partnerships, and tracking measurable hiring outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, screen, and onboard qualified Home Health Aides and Personal Care Aides across assigned territories.
  • Meet or exceed a weekly hiring goal of 10+ new hires, with weekly progress reporting.
  • Develop, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as:
  • Number of candidates sourced/interviewed/hired per week
  • Time-to-fill positions
  • Candidate show-up rate for orientation
  • Conversion rate from interview to hire
  • Conduct full-cycle recruitment activities including resume reviews, phone screens, interviews, offer letters, and onboarding.
  • Coordinate and participate in hiring events, school partnerships, and community outreach.
  • Ensure candidate documentation is collected and compliant with regulatory and internal standards (pre-hire medical documentation knowledge is a plus).
  • Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and recruitment logs.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to improve processes and share best practices.
  • Serve as a candidate advocate to foster engagement and retention through regular follow-up during and post-hire.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably in healthcare or home care staffing.
  • Experience hiring Home Health Aides or Personal Care Aides strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with ATS systems, job boards, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to work occasional flexible hours and attend events outside standard business hours.
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
