Reporting to Managing Director Korea and Japan, the purpose of the role is to bring our sales & commercial capability in Korea to a world class standard, and to deliver breakthrough business performance through effective customer management and cross functional ways of working that fit for the purpose of transformation in line with market evolvement.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for:
  • Managing entire commercial organization for on trade, off trade, customer marketing and RGM(Revenue Growth Management) & commercial excellence team
  • Obtain and apply facts and data to drive excellence in planning, decision making and performance measure for Diageo Korea to guide the organization ahead.
  • Translate the business strategy into implementation plan by setting the milestones and drive the highest standards of execution throughout the business and lead the transformation for the entire commercial unit.
  • Motivate the sales organization with a clear and powerful trade strategy, building strong and supportive trade relationships at senior and industry level with upholding Diageo brands.
  • Establish and maintain excellence in the areas of customer, shopper and category insight, to inspire the breakthrough activations that motivate the organization to exceed goals.
  • Lead the commercial team by example and act as role model, to keep developing and upskill the commercial team to ensure both commercial and talents prospect.
  • Foster outstanding collaboration and build relationships internally and externally as a thoughtful and strategic business partner, to position our best brands in front of every customer and consumer
  • Experience / skills required
  • To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Possess the proven experiences staying close with business and team in the front, to capture the engaging customers and consumers during the transformation journey by propositioning strategy partnership and to meet unmet demands.
  • Exposure across different channels and different levels of customer sophistication (eg. Key Accounts, On Premise, Wholesaler), the vision into E-commerce is appreciated.
  • Consummate know-how of channel, pricing, consumer& customer, and the masterful negotiation skills to navigate the commercial success with customer.
  • Self-motivating and positive character with high comfort navigating ambiguity and constant change to engage the customers and consumers and inspire the team to challenge the status quo and achieve beyond.
  • Strong collaboration skills with internal/external stakeholders with alignment of commercial and brand strategies to drive growth
