Internal Controls: Manage and own our internal controls and procurement processes.
Truth Seeking : Act as a "truth seeker" for the leadership team, providing granular financial breakdowns and actionable insights that go beyond standard reporting.
Requirements
Experience: 8+ years of accounting experience, ideally in managing and maturing financial processes from Series B/C to later stages. You know what "good" looks like at scale but aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves to get us there.
Technical Proficiency: You likely started your career in the Big 4 and are proficient in all major accounting processes, including any O2C (Order-to-Cash), P2P (Procure-to-pay), H2R (Hire-to-Retire), and R2R (Report-to-Report).
A CPA and SOX experience is preferred.
Modern Financial Systems: You have experience implementing financial systems and are comfortable navigating modern data tools (SQL) to validate financial data at the source.
You are excited about the frontier of new technology in finance and proactively look for ways to use AI to eliminate "grunt work" in the accounting cycle.
Executive Advisory & Partnership: You have excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization. You thrive in ambiguity and can balance strategic foresight with hands-on problem-solving.
