Duties and Responsibilities Draft, review and negotiate a variety of servicing related agreements including third-party client servicing agreements, securitization servicing agreements and ancillary documents such as servicer notices, joinders, and DACAs. Draft, review and negotiate securitization documents including pooling and servicing agreements, PPMs, indentures, and offering materials. Coordinate and manage deliverables related to servicing transactions, ensuring timely and accurate execution Collaborate with internal teams to align legal documentation with business objectives Advise internal stakeholders on legal and regulatory issues related to servicing transactions Partner with outside counsel as needed to align legal approaches with internal strategic objectives and acceptable risk levels Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting servicing and securitization transactions Draft, review, and negotiate other agreements as needed including mortgage loan purchase agreements (MLPAs), non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), broker agreements and correspondent agreements. Performs related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications and Education Requirements Law Degree. Membership in good standing in state bar. Minimum of 15 years of full-time legal practice with substantial experience in mortgage servicing or capital markets transactions, in a law firm or in-house setting. Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge Ability to achieve consensus among competing objectives and constituencies. Strong client service orientation. Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills, including the ability to influence others, foster teamwork and drive for results and change within a large and complex organization. Ability to analyze complex issues, develop creative solutions and provide sound, practical and reasoned legal advice to business client. Excellent verbal/written communication skills, excellent listening skills and teamwork skills.
