Role Overview
In this role, you will actively shape and develop the Water and Wastewater market in Mexico by working closely with end customers, EPCs, and distributors to create tailored technical and commercial solutions. Leveraging our portfolio of pumps, mixers, and water treatment solutions, you will help customers improve process efficiency, reliability, and sustainability, in line with the strategic objectives of the Flow Division within the Water & Industry business unit.
Through regular customer engagement, strong technical understanding, and personal networking, you will build long term partnerships and position Sulzer as a trusted solution provider across the Mexican metals industry
Responsibilities
Market Development & Sales Strategy
Implement and execute the sales strategy for the Water and Wastewater segment in Mexico.
Actively develop the market by identifying new opportunities, key accounts, and strategic projects.
Build a sustainable pipeline that supports long term growth and profitability.
Customer, EPC & Distributor Engagement
Establish and maintain strong, trust based relationships with customers, EPCs, and selected distributors.
Ensure early involvement in project development phases to influence technical solutions and specifications.
Act as the main technical and commercial interface between Sulzer and assigned customers.
Solution Development
Analyze customer processes and operational challenges.
Leverage deep knowledge of the Sulzer portfolio to develop customized, competitive, and value adding solutions.
Demonstrate clear customer value through improved performance, reliability, lifecycle cost reduction, and sustainability.
Proposals & Contract Management
Prepare and manage formal technical and commercial proposals, ensuring clarity in scope, pricing, delivery, and contractual terms.
Coordinate internally with engineering, product management, service, and operations teams to deliver accurate and competitive offers.
Support negotiations and order intake in line with margin and risk guidelines.
Market & Trend Monitoring
Monitor market developments, customer investment plans, and competitor activity.
Translate market intelligence into targeted sales and marketing actions.
Contribute to segment strategy, forecasting, and opportunity planning.
