Business Unit Description:
Enovis Surgical offers surgeons and their patients a full range of primary and revision implants for hip, knee, shoulder, and elbow reconstructive joint surgeries, in addition to the tools and digital health technology needed in today's changing healthcare environment.
Job Title/High-Level Position Summary:
This individual will play a critical role in ensuring seamless integration between manufacturing and distribution, supporting both current operations and future growth.
Key Responsibilities: Process Design & Optimization:
Design and optimize warehouse layouts, material flow, and storage strategies to improve efficiency and throughput
Analyze distribution processes (receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping) and implement improvements
Develop and maintain standard work and process documentation
Identify, evaluate, and implement automation solutions (e.g., conveyors, sortation systems, AGV's, and fixed and mobile robotic systems)
Lead automation-related projects from concept through implementation
Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful deployment of automated systems
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing manual touches, cycle time, and errors
Utilize data to identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements
Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance (throughput, accuracy, productivity)
Support capacity planning and labor optimization efforts
Collaborate with IT and Supply Chain teams to optimize Warehouse Management System (WMS) functionality
Ensure alignment and integration between WMS, ERP, and automation systems
Experience with Oracle ERP preferred.
Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth product flow from production to distribution
Support new product introductions (NPI) by designing scalable distribution processes
Provide on-the-floor support to troubleshoot operational issues and drive resolution
Minimum Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
5+ years of experience in distribution, warehouse operations, or manufacturing engineering
Experience designing or improving warehouse processes and material flow
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data to drive decisions
