FTE: 0.5, Shift: Day, Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, 20-hours/week Join our Early Supports for Infants and Toddlers team at Children's Village! Our team is comprised of a diverse group of dedicated professionals that incorporate many general and specialty lines of service. We have a strong mentorship program and encourage new graduates to apply. Our team enjoys the following aspects of working: Serve children 0-18 years of age. Provide in-person services in the outpatient clinic setting as well as in the home/community settings. Pending experience, services may also be provided in the hospital. As part of our Early Supports for Infants and Toddlers Program (ESIT) team there are educational opportunities to further skills in relationship-based practice. Work collaboratively as part of a team of OTs, PTs, SLPs, early childhood developmental specialists, nurses, social workers, and behavioral therapists. Paid mileage reimbursement. Premiums may be available for bilingual candidate. Children's Village is a neurodevelopmental center providing over 30 different specialty services to children with special healthcare needs. Position Summary The Speech Pathologist is an exciting opportunity at MultiCare, providing clinical services and communication with patients, families, and other professionals/service providers in the medical community. This professional position will allow you to apply your extensive knowledge and expertise in of speech pathology with all of your patients. Responsibilities You will provide assessment, interpretation, and reporting of clinical observations You will perform patient assessments with physician and develop treatment plans You will perform and interpret results of Videofluoroscpic swallow studies and fiberoptic endoscopic of swallowing You will confer with physician and other health care professionals
