The Plating Process Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, quality, and reliability of the Plating process. This includes qualifying new equipment, resolving customer complaints, driving process improvements, and supervising technicians. The role requires collaboration across multiple functions, standardization initiatives, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Qualify new Plating machines and metrology equipment for the Plating Line Laboratory.
Document new workflows and revise existing documents (e.g., Plating FMEA, Control Plan, Work Instructions).
Lead resolution of Plating-related customer complaints, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Drive process improvement projects to enhance cost efficiency, quality, and productivity
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Engineering
Proficiency in chemistry, mechanical, and chemical Plating processes.
Skilled in using statistical tools (e.g., Minitab, Statistics).
Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with cross-functional teams.
Effective communication and reporting skills at all organizational levels.
Strong fundamentals in chemistry.
Project management and leadership skills.
People management skills and ability to supervise technicians.
