You'll deliver high‑quality civil and structural carpentry works, supporting current projects and helping us build infrastructure that improves the quality of life for our communities. Mō te tūranga | About the role This is a hands‑on, site‑based role working across a variety of civil construction projects. You'll be involved in the construction and maintenance of civil and structural assets, working with concrete, precast and structural steel. In addition to trade‑based carpentry tasks, this role includes hammer hand and general site support duties as required to support programme delivery. Your work will directly contribute to safe, reliable infrastructure across the Southland region. This role suits a qualified carpenter who enjoys working outdoors, managing their own workload and being flexible to assist across site activities while delivering work to a high standard. This is a permanent full-time role based in Invercargill with a minimum guaranteed 40 hours per week and a maximum of 70 hours per week. The hourly rate is between $32 and $38 per hour depending on experience .
