About the role
You will be part of the new, York and North Yorkshire Women's Alliance Service; a multi-agency consortium involving St Giles Trust, Waythrough and Changing Lives. The Women's Alliance service will consist of a team of caseworkers providing person-centred support to all women across the county, including those facing barriers to engagement such as women residing in the most rural communities, and those belonging to minority groups. Referrals will be received via several pathways: North Yorkshire Police (as an Out of Court Disposal), from partner agencies, or from women choosing to self-refer/walk-in. You will work with service users to develop and maintain support plans and records, including risk assessments and safety plans. Working closely with specialist agencies, you will take a joined-up approach to holistically address a range of issues and needs in order for women to achieve outcomes and improve their overall wellbeing. You will encourage and support partner agencies to co-locate across all identified gender specific spaces, including the women's centres, multi-agency drop-in sessions, and Liberty Links rural provision, committing to working collaboratively wherever possible.
