Job Description
This role leverages knowledge and competence in designing, developing and delivering Professional Services processes, methodologies, programs and education. PMO Consultant uses overall knowledge of the industry and business solutions to drive operation improvement or stronger business results.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Serve as Subject Matter Expert for Professional Services Automation (PSA)
Set up projects; create project budgets and amend where necessary
Provide coaching to Project Managers in understanding NCR ATLEOS project accounting and to use this to manage their projects
Closing contracts and projects when complete - yearly maintenance
Project Accounting
Manage sub-contractor costs and payments against statement of work
Follow contracts to ensure that all revenues due to PS are received, maximize PS revenue
Track project costs, revenues, and target margins
Initiate customer billings via PSA and ensure billing is done appropriately. Make appropriate accounting entries
Financial/Business Management of PS practice using data analytics and KPIs
Manage and Direct Revenue forecast through proactive Project Progress & Milestone Reviews
Analyze practice profitability drivers, recommend and implement improvement plans
Drive improvements in the operations of the PS business
Provide Professional Services expertise/analysis to PS management
Recommend and implement corrective actions to improve results
Address and improve process gaps and inefficiencies
