Performance Enhancement : Maximize dock door utilization for oversized shipments; reduce unloading-to-putaway cycle time through zone-dedicated staging. Operational Oversight: Coordinate LTL/truckload deliveries of furniture, palletized machinery, or industrial goods. Direct team to inspect for concealed damage, verify dimensions/weights, and complete putaway into bulk or rack storage. Schedule Management: Align inbound appointment windows with yard management; prioritize unloading based on outbound demand and storage constraints. Reporting : Generate receiving accuracy reports (by SKU/pallet), vendor compliance scorecards, and storage utilization for large items. Customer Service Excellence : Work with vendors and freight forwarders to resolve quantity/damage discrepancies at the dock and document claims. Security and Integrity: Secure high-value large items during receiving; implement spot checks for theft prevention. 【 Qualifications 】 Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred. Professional Experience : At least 1 year of experience in large item inbound operations Industry Expertise : Knowledge of dock safety regulations (OSHA), oversized putaway techniques, and WMS receiving modules. Leadership Skills: Ability to coordinate with truck drivers, yard spotters, and warehouse floor teams under tight schedules.
