Job Summary : Our team of Field Service Technicians is dedicated to providing exceptional support and service to our customers worldwide. Working both independently and collaboratively, our technicians ensure the successful installation, maintenance, and optimization of equipment at customer sites. This position requires frequent travel, estimated between 60-80% of the time. We are seeking skilled Field Service Technicians who are passionate about delivering high-quality customer service and are adept at finding innovative technical solutions. Key Responsibilities/Complexities: Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues on equipment at customer sites, ensuring customer satisfaction. Assist in the installation, startup, and testing of new equipment, providing guidance to customer personnel on proper operation and maintenance practices. Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and diplomacy. Collaborate with team members to optimize efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery. Build and maintain customer relationships. Required Education and Experience: A two-year post-high school diploma/certificate in electro-mechanical technology and a minimum of 3 years related experience, OR a high school diploma and a minimum of 7 years relevant experience. Proficiency in mechanical, pneumatic, and control systems, with a solid understanding of material handling practices. Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as engineering documents, operation and maintenance instructions, bills of materials and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports and business correspondence Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of leaders, clients, and customers.
