Our German practice is led by a group of seasoned Managing Directors who specialise in delivering advisory services across Restructuring, Debt Advisory and Value Creation. Kerkhoff with its strong focus on Procurement and Supply Chain Management has been fully integrated into Interpath as a Centre of Excellence within the "Value Creation" service line. At Interpath, our Advanced Negotiation team is part of our Value Creation service line and improving our client's results is our passion. Our consulting teams utilise their expertise in game and auction theory in order to optimise our Client's negotiation strategies & outcomes leading to reduced costs and improved supplier relationships. As a Manager in the Advanced Negotiation team, you will work with experienced colleagues to deliver multi-stakeholder, international and domestic projects while also raising the profile of Interpath as a premier provider of Value Creation advisory services. Responsibilities will include; Managing several client projects simultaneously with responsibility for costs and results Executing and implementing game-theoretical negotiation projects (including monopoly negotiations or competitive tendering) Conducting complex negotiations & create supporting documentation such as data analyses, strategy derivation, visualization and presentations Identifying and achieving significant cost savings by developing creative solutions resulting in a positive impact on EBITDA, working capital & operational KPIs Managing stakeholder engagement & communication throughout projects Leading on the latest scientific methods and pursuing the goal of promoting game-theoretical understanding among our clients Supporting business development initiatives, working closely with Managing Directors on pitch documents & thought leadership Strong academic background (Bachelor's/Master's/PhD) ideally with a focus on game/auction theory, market/mechanism design, or industrial economics Previous professional experience in the areas of applied game theory, mechanism design, auction and negotiation theory, in addition to behavioural economics ideally in a Consulting firm, in-house consulting, or relevant experience in project management Proven consulting tool kit including financial analysis and stakeholder management including presentation preparation and delivery Well-developed team management and coaching skills in often urgent situations combined with excellent communication and influencing skills Demonstrated professional experience in procurement either in consulting or within an industry procurement function Strong understanding of how industrial procurement organisations operate (including procurement processes, methods, tools and organisational structures Native or business fluent German & English (C1) is essential.
