Analyze customer profiles and transactional activity to identify potential financial crime risks
Review escalated alerts and provide recommendations for further investigation or closure
Support the preparation of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) when applicable
Interpret regulatory updates and assess their impact on internal AML frameworks
Evaluate product and service risk exposure in line with AML policies
Prepare clear and concise summaries of findings for internal stakeholders and compliance committees

We are looking for an AML Compliance Analyst to support the execution and enhancement of the firm's Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and financial crime compliance framework. This role will focus on transaction monitoring, alert investigation, risk assessment, and regulatory analysis, ensuring alignment with internal policies and global regulatory requirements.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, International Relations, or a related field
Equivalent relevant work experience will also be considered
Certifications
CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) or equivalent certification in progress preferred
Required Experience
Experience in:
Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance
Financial crime investigations
Regulatory risk or compliance roles
Functional Skills & Expertise
Working knowledge of:
AML regulations, including:
Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)
AML transaction monitoring processes and typologies
AML model governance and validation frameworks
AML risk assessment methodologies and scoring
Global regulatory frameworks (e.g., FATF, EU AML Directives, FinCEN)
Hands-on experience with:
Transaction monitoring systems
Alert investigation processes
Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) drafting and escalation
Familiarity with:
Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) processes and controls
Interpretation of regulatory guidance and internal compliance policies
