T4 - Hardware & Silicon Validation Senior Staff Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant professional experience; or Master's/Ph.D. degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in C/C++, ARM assembly, and 32/64-bit ARM CPU architecture.
• Experience in firmware development under bare-metal and/or Linux Environment, including debugging on SoCs for embedded systems.
• Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power analyzers, etc.
• Prior experience with SSD controllers, NAND PHY bring‑up, or system‑level SSD validation is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with advanced NAND technologies, including LTT and SCA, is a significant advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Flexible, proactive, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and drive them to completion.
• Expected Base Pay Range (USD)
• 127,630 - 191,200, $ per annum
• The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, hands‑on validation experience, and the ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional engineering environment. What You Can Expect - Design and execute post-silicon validation tests for SSD Chipsets during R&D cycle. - Develop, port and execute bare-metal firmware to validate storage SoCs. - Perform Pre- and Post-silicon testing of SoC functionality, including NAND bring-up and functions validation. - Review, create, and maintain test plans, test procedures and test results documentation. - Develop validation tools, test frameworks, and benchmarking applications. - Analyze test results and generate professional validation reports. - Provide technical support to Field Application Engineers supporting customer engagements. - Collaborate with Test Engineers to support test development for mass production.
