About the role
We're building something that doesn't exist yet. Our startup, backed by teams in London and Milan is working at the frontier of soft robotics and electropneumatic systems. We're looking for a Mechatronics Engineer who is passionate about mobile robotics and love bringing innovative and ambitious designs to life! Our lab is 20 minutes from Rondo Rataje, Poznan. www.morph.inc You'll own the full stack of physical systems; from fluidic circuit design and electropneumatic actuation to embedded control and mechanical integration. You'll prototype, break things, fix them, and ship. Occasional travel to London comes with the role. Have Masters of higher degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering (we are open for internships if you still haven't finished your Masters, though!) Have real hands-on experience integrating electromechanical systems; not just simulated them Are fluent in CAD (SolidWorks, Fusion, OnShape or similar) Can design, build, and debug electronics from scratch Write clean Python and have touched embedded systems (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, STM32) Have worked with actuators: steppers, BLDC, servos, solenoid valves, piezo regulators Write documentation that other engineers actually want to read Are fluent in English You'll stand out if you have Experience with electropneumatic actuators or fluidic circuit design Fluid dynamics simulation background Familiarity with wireless power transfer or low-power electronics Signal processing or data transmission protocol experience Any exposure to industrial automation systems Soft robotics is one of the few fields where the hardware hasn't caught up to the vision yet. You'd be joining early enough to shape the architecture, not inherit it. Competitive comp, meaningful equity, and work that will end up in your portfolio for the rest of your career. Potential matters more than a perfect CV. If you're missing experience in some of these areas but learn fast and want to work on hardware that hasn't been built before, apply anyway.
