Sample duties of this position include: Ability to operate gasoline or diesel powered trucks or truck tractors with the trailer or semi trailer coupled by use of turntable (fifth wheel) or pintel (pivot) hook, ability to hook and unhook trailer from tractor "fifth wheel", ability to inspect air hoses and connections in braking systems and checks lighting lines, perform policing of the area and vehicle, must know and understand local, state and federal laws that apply to operating a Class A Vehicle on roads.
