$51,007.84Job DescriptionBasic PurposeTypical FunctionsPerforms professional talent acquisition and human resources activities involving the interpretation and application of agency policies, procedures, laws, and regulations related to recruitment and employment.
Conducts full-cycle recruiting activities, including preparing and posting job announcements, sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, and assisting hiring managers through the selection process.
Develops and implements recruitment strategies to attract qualified applicants for agency positions; utilizes job search engines, online recruiting platforms, social media, job fairs, community outreach events, college recruiting activities, and other recruitment initiatives to identify and recruit qualified candidates.
Provides guidance to applicants, employees, supervisors, and managers regarding recruitment procedures, hiring processes, job opportunities, and applicable employment policies.
Maintains applicant tracking systems, recruitment records and related employment documentation in compliance with applicable laws, rules, and agency procedures.
Assists with workforce planning activities by identifying staffing needs, monitoring vacancy data, and preparing recruitment reports and metrics.
Interprets and applies federal and state employment laws, policies, and procedures related to hiring, equal employment opportunity, and fair employment practices.
May assist with classification reviews, compensation studies, employee relations matters, or other human resources functions as assigned.
Collects and analyzes data on personnel selection procedures and methods, based on established psychometric techniques; prepares charts, graphs and other statistical information on examination results, develops tests and other selection devises.
Prepares, processes, reviews, analyzes, or approves employee personnel transactions; ensures compliance with applicable laws and rules concerning appointments, promotions, demotions, transfers, separations and other actions.
