Managing Director, Enterprise Architecture & Emerging Technology

About the role

The Managing Director, Enterprise Architecture and Emerging Technology is accountable for ensuring that Teachers' has a forward-looking architecture, technology strategy and roadmap that is fully aligned with our current state, strategic direction and business objectives. This includes identifying opportunities and gaps in enterprise architecture required to achieve those objectives, with clear traceability to measurable business outcomes. In addition, this role serves as a central point for assessing emerging technologies through defined frameworks, partnerships, and experimentation. The role is critical to future-proofing Teachers' technology environment while ensuring adoption is responsible, secure, and value-driven. As a senior member of the Technology Services leadership team, this role also contributes to the broader mandate of talent, culture, and innovation within the division. Who you'll work with Reporting to the Senior Managing Director, Technology Services, you will lead the Enterprise Architecture and Emerging Technology team. You will also partner closely with Business Technology and AI heads, other Technology Services functions, senior business leaders, and external innovation ecosystems.
