Records laboratory test data, patient and quality control information. Is actively involved in quality control procedures, review and corrective action and maintains care of expensive laboratory equipment and instruments and judicious use of materials. Assists in training new lab personnel, externs and students and carefully handles infectious material to protect all laboratory personnel. Utilizes knowledge of human physiology and science to evaluate test results for accuracy. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education/Licensure/Certification: Current State of California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License required. Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field required.
