Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Registered member with APEGA as P. Eng. in the Province of Alberta.
  • 4 or more years related experience.
  • Passion for renewables with a strong willingness to learn.
  • Solid foundation in math, statistics, and data science.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in programming (Python/MATLAB; other languages an asset).
  • Self-motivated with strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Working Conditions:
  • Office environment.
  • Limited travel ( Wind turbine site environment to monitor and observe work performed. Applicants must be able to climb vertical stationary ladders inside wind turbine towers to heights greater than 250 feet.
  • Occasionally, employees may be required to work in adverse outdoor weather conditions in temperatures greater than 35C and lower than -20C.
  • The environment is fast-paced and deliverables-based with competing deadlines to support ambitious performance and cost goals.
