Utilizes acquisition functional disciplines including contract management, quality assurance, program and technical support, to address resource related concerns and acquisition opportunities for the Joint Staff J6. Reviews and evaluates the content of new or modified legislation for projected impact upon Joint Staff J6 programs and resources; and/or in translating a basic legislation into program goals, actions, and services. Performs management studies and conceptualizing, developing, and implementing organization-wide programs by leveraging an understanding of relationships between the Joint Staff, Military Services, and other agencies. Analyzes legislative and higher headquarters guidance to the budget impact on joint C4/Cyber programs and policies. requirements, policies, procedures and guidance. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
