Salary Range $19.91-$25.38 Job Posting End Date - Applications will no longer be accepted starting Job Summary WASTEWATER - VACTOR TRUCK: Performs tasks of more than average difficulty involving the safe operation and routine maintenance of assigned equipment. The employee will perform semi-skilled work in maintenance of the wastewater collection system and serve as a lead in the operation of the vactor truck and/or tanker truck. Tasks, at times, are performed under hazardous conditions and employees are expected to be particularly alert and careful. Under general supervision, employees are required to exercise initiative and independent judgment in completing assigned tasks. Work is reviewed while in progress and upon completion by observation and through results obtained. The employee with be required periodically to assist the CCTV crew in cleaning sewer main lines in preparation for inspections; also the employee will be required to assist on sewer backups and wastewater overflows. Lastly, the employee maybe required to work at night and work in adverse weather conditions.
