Your new role In this role, you will: Assess heavy motor and haulage equipment damage, determining appropriate repair strategies in line with industry standards, legislation and manufacturer guidelines Provide accurate settlement recommendations while managing and mitigating large and complex claims costs Coordinate and oversee repairs for heavy vehicles, ensuring quality outcomes and minimal disruption to customers Engage with repairers, suppliers and customers across phone, digital and on-site interactions as required Source and negotiate parts or repair solutions for specialised vehicles and equipment Deliver a high standard of customer service aligned to claims service standards Support delivery of Claims strategy and broader business outcomes About you Trade-qualified preferred (e.g. heavy diesel mechanic, boilermaker, panel beater or similar) Strong experience working with heavy vehicles Sound understanding of complex repair methodologies and heavy motor claims Proven ability to manage stakeholders and negotiate effectively in complex scenarios Strong communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships Well organised with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands
