Job DescriptionSalary: $21.63/hrTemporary Status: Employees work a maximum of 29 hours per week for a total of 999 hours or one (1) year whichever comes first. Once the 999 hours are up temporary hours can be renewed at the employers' recommendation.Essential Functions:Under supervision of the Lead Instructor, perform professional alternative instruction at the secondary and occasionally the primary level for educationally and motivationally challenged youth and other curriculum as required for student development.Maintain records of student progress and report to Lead Instructor weekly.
Administer specialized testing.
Review and evaluate new materials for classroom use and apply techniques to encourage academic improvement.
Maintain control of the learning environment by implementing program policies and classroom conduct rules and procedures in a fair and equitable manner for the students.
May be required to direct and supervise educational field trips, student social and/or recreational activities.
Attend educational, institutional and department meetings as required.
Inventory educational materials, supplies and equipment in assigned classroom.
Perform related work as required by the supervisor.

Standing and walking while teaching for long periods of time
Conditions of Employment:

T1/CNACI security clearance (Eligibility for national security positions shall be granted only to persons who are U.S. citizens)
Maintain a valid driver's license
Must possess a valid Oklahoma Teaching Certificate
