Management and Program Analyst (Senior Analyst)

About the role

This position is located in the Air Traffic Organization's Service Center. The incumbent is a Senior Analyst to the Team Manager and applies experience and expert knowledge of ATO programs, along with knowledge of analytical and investigative techniques, to analyze operational challenges, assess planned and potential new solutions, and recommend solutions. This work is critical to the safety of the NAS. Specialized Experience: To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level FV-I (or FG/GS-13). Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience includes: Experience in program management to identify and devise appropriate courses of action acceptable to management officials. Experience explaining, advocating, and expressing factual information and ideas to internal and external customers. The incumbent must have knowledge of applicable service unit and an understanding of how resources interact and impact operational, staffing, training, and budgetary programs.
