This is an independent contractor opportunity with The TDL Group Corp. (an affiliate of Restaurant Brands International, the parent company of Tim Hortons, Burger King, Popeyes, and Firehouse Subs), structured as a consulting engagement rather than employment. The contractor will invoice the Company on a bi-weekly basis and be paid by direct deposit within 14 days. The engagement has a defined term of 1 year. As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for your own taxes and insurance. The contractor is expected to be in the RBI office in downtown Toronto five days a week. The Law Clerk will provide legal support across franchising and real estate for Tim Hortons. Working in close collaboration with the Real Estate Development, Asset Management and Property Management Departments, under the guidance of RBI's counsel and Senior Law Clerk, the Law Clerk will handle a range of legal responsibilities, supporting multiple facets of the business while upholding a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
