Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Valid Non-Commissioned Security Officer License (Level II) is required
  • Valid Driver's License is required
  • High school graduate (required)
  • At least 2 years of security experience required, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • You are able to clearly communicate with a variety of individuals, both written and verbal.
  • You are able to analyze and use logic and reasoning to understand how a problem should be approached.
  • You are attentive to the reactions of others, reading body language well.
  • You have basic knowledge of Google Suite programs.
  • You have great active listening skills, foster trusting interpersonal relationships and you work well with others.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Bending and Twisting : Bending neck/waist, twisting neck/waist, and squatting.
  • Computer Use : Typing, mouse work, and sitting and looking at a computer potentially for long periods of time.
  • Exposure to Machinery: Exposure to machinery noise, which may include noise from forklifts, injection presses, or other machinery.
  • Hand Use : Power gripping when using low-precision, high-impact hand tools that require significant force, such as hammer drills and torque wrenches.
  • Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear alarms, signals, and verbal instructions.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 75+ pounds, with employee help or with proper equipment.
  • Sitting or Standing: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Temperature and Humidity : Occasional exposure to warehouse environments without heating or cooling with fluctuations in temperatures and humidity.

We're looking for a Security Officer III to join our Corporate Security team to help protect Collector's personnel, property, and profits through detection, deterrence, and denial of unauthorized individuals, all while maintaining a secure environment and preserving the integrity of the company's facilities and reputation within a 24/7 security environment. Our Security vigilance protects Collectors from exposure, damage to reputation and theft. You'll report to the Sr. Security Supervisor and work from our Plano, TX office. Onsite Requirement: This role requires you to be onsite in the office 5 days per week.
