For more information, visit WPP.com . We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to drive the rapid, iterative execution of site improvements and continuous optimisation initiatives. This role will be responsible for translating overarching optimisation strategies into accelerated improvement programs, cultivating a culture of swift deployment and immediate impact, and ensuring measurable business value through a systematic, data-driven approach focused on maximising real-time trading performance. This role will operate with a high degree of granularity, directly implementing and refining the optimisation framework defined by the Optimisation Principal and working hand in hand with the Paid Media Team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead for Global Site Optimisation Activities:
  • Serve as the lead for all global site optimisation activities, overseeing daily operations and tactical direction for the client's weekly improvement roadmap.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the client's business landscape and challenges to identify and drive high-impact, rapid optimisation opportunities for trading performance.
  • Manage program resources and weekly timelines specific to site optimisation initiatives, ensuring the successful, rapid, and in-scope delivery of improvements and performance uplifts.
  • Leverage a strong commercial acumen to optimise resource allocation for site improvements, monitor deployment velocity, and rigorously track the Return on Investment (ROI) of rapid optimisation efforts.
  • Contribute to strategic forecasting and provide comprehensive performance reporting on optimisation outcomes and immediate trading impact.
  • Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with client stakeholders, specifically around site optimisation planning, rapid deployment, and real-time trading impact across global regions.
  • Rapid Iteration & Optimisation Strategy & Execution:
  • Champion Rapid Iteration & Optimisation (RIO) across the organisation, fostering a mindset of continuous deployment and data-driven decision-making for immediate impact.
  • Implement and continuously refine the comprehensive RIO framework, methodologies, and best practices, working within the strategic direction set by the Optimisation Principal.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to rapidly design, deploy, and meticulously analyse site improvements that drive key business metrics and optimise trading performance.
  • Develop and scale an infrastructure for continuous deployment, rapid iteration, and immediate performance uplift, focusing on efficiency and velocity for real-time trading.
  • Translate complex data insights derived directly from real-time performance monitoring into actionable strategies that ensure immediate and sustained business impact on trading.
  • Technical Planning and Rapid Delivery:
  • Lead the technical planning and rapid execution of all site optimisation programs, leveraging in-depth knowledge of the underlying technology stack crucial for immediate deployment and performance monitoring.
  • This includes, but is not limited to, real-time optimisation platforms, comprehensive analytics suites (for real-time performance monitoring), and Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) (for dynamic audience segmentation and rapid targeting).
  • Architect integrated solutions by understanding the capabilities, limitations, and interoperability of these optimisation-focused technologies, ensuring they are strategically deployed to maximise deployment velocity, real-time accuracy, and deliver against rapid trading performance objectives.
